My experience at the Toyota dealership was fantastic! This was my first time buying a new/newish car. The car itself is great and I got everything I wanted and more. Jon was low key with no pressure and did not try to get me to upgrade to a more expensive or newer car. I really appreciated the respect he showed in letting me come to my own decision. Jon was very quick to respond to my communications over the course of a couple of weeks when I had various questions. he always got back to me within a very short time frame. Shout out to Taylor in service for helping me out last minute. I've not been a customer prior, but I was driving a Prius for the first time and had the windshield wipers ice up pretty badly and I thought they were broken. After finding a 2019 Tundra TRD Pro that was advertised online, I decided to contact Kolar through the web. I was promptly contacted by Whitney the next morning to see if I had any questions and made sure I knew the truck was located in Minnesota (I was located in Georgia.). I asked Whitney for a few additional pictures of the truck and she had Jack, my eventual salesman, send me the requested pictures soon thereafter. From then on I had great communication with Jack either through text messaging or talking on the phone. I felt good enough to go ahead and put a deposit down on the truck and get some of the financials started. I flew up to Duluth, MN a couple days later and Jack personally picked me up from the airport in my freshly washed truck. It looked great! I test drove the truck back to the dealership and everything looked as I had seen on the website. Once we got to the dealership, Lana had all the financing already prepared and walked me through the whole process in no time. I was in and out in probably an hour, hour and a half at most. All in all, Kolar Toyota has been a great dealership to work with!

I told him I wasn't ready yet but that I'd be back before winter for a car. I saw the new 2020 Rav4's on the road and started browsing the Kolar site for incentives. When Nicole called to schedule an appointment, I told her that I preferred to work with and through Mark. 9:30 the next morning, Mark and I were on the lot looking at the RAV4 inventory. I was already sold on Mark after meeting him in March and as soon as he opened the hatch, I was sold on the RAV4. The process was quick, easy, and warm. Every person at Kolar Toyota was so helpful and pleasant to be around. I will definitely recommend Kolar Toyota in the future to my friends and family in the market for a new vehicle - especially if they want a new RAV4!

I brought my Toyota RAV4 in to see if they could get the tire indicate light off in the dashboard display. It had been worked on by other automotive places who couldn't get the light off. Even though Kolar wasn't sure either they gave it their best shot. The mechanic was great in explaining the problem to me. I had a dental appointment and their shuttle service was great getting me to my appointment on time and then picking me up. I was so impressed with the kindness of everyone. I'm now trying just taking my negative cable off the battery overnight. I did this at the mechanic's advice. I hope this works! What a wonderful experience for me! A week and a half ago my wife and I were traveling to Northern Ontario for a fishing trip in our new (1500 miles) Highlander. We realized that the passenger side floor was filling with water. It was almost 3/4" deep. We stopped on a Wednesday afternoon at about 4:30. The service man was at our car before I could get the door open. Within 3 minutes he had a mechanic to our car. The mechanic needed to pull the car into the shop. We went into the waiting room expecting a wait. Within 10 minutes the service writer came and got us and said everything was fixed. It was a loose hose from the air conditioner. No paperwork was required. We were in and out in less than 15 minutes. This level of service is uncommon and needs to be recognized. I am sorry it happened so fast I did not even get anyone's name. Thank You, Dan

A couple of years ago my husband and I moved up to our cabin north of Duluth. We own 4 Toyota vehicles. With this last cold spell my daughters car has needed numerous jumps so we called to get a new battery as it was the original 2009 factory. When we dropped off her Yaris and the Tundra, and we feel like we were treated like royalty. Every person in the Duluth Hermantown location treated so great-also, our daughters car was covered in ice. The man in the garage(i didnt see a nametag) went the extra mile to get all of the ice off of her car after he installed the new battery. THANK you. My 20-year old Cadillac had long outlived its usefulness. Although I was not financially ready to purchase a new car I had begun the research process. I was very interested in a Toyota, having owned a very reliable and delight-to-drive Camry prior to the Caddy. While exploring pricing and options on new Rav4s I happened to the Kolar used inventory. There I saw a low mile Highlander. Despite my reservations (as stated earlier, I was not financially positioned as yet to purchase ANY car) I contacted the dealership. Shortly Neil e-mailed me. Over the next two days Neil encouraged me via text message to come in a look at the vehicle. I did so at my earliest opportunity and Neil took me for a test drive. His knowledge of the Highlander was extensive. He was easy-going and not at all aggressive or pushy. Over the next couple of days he worked very hard to get me into this car. Through some fortuitous events we came together and made it happen. Three days after my test drive I received the keys to my new ride. Neil was as happy for me as I was for myself. To have a reliable, beautifully equipped, near-new condition automobile was a dream I thought unattainable - at least for the foreseeable future.
