Kolar Gives Back

 


Register for our 30th Annual Kolar Toyota A.L.S. Walleye Tournament.  The tournament will be held once again at Island Lake, just 15 miles north of Duluth to benefit this wonderful cause. June of 2024 the event raised over $293,000! The tournament has raised more than 4 million since its first year in 1996!

2025 marks the 26th annual Blizzard Tour. This is the largest Snowmobiling fund-raising event

in the world! Black Woods Blizzard Tour, Never Surrender, A Ride to Fight ALS raised a record

of $2,000,000 this year. The tour has now raised $19 million in its 25 years! Kolar Toyota is a

major sponsor of this event. We supply the tour with quality new Toyota vehicles. We would like

Join us for the 48th annual 

Grandma's Marathon, 

Saturday, June 21, 2025. 


Grandma's Marathon is a world-ranked race and draws in over 17,000 participants

each year!  Kolar is proud to participate as a member of the Toyota sponsors of

this event. Our employees have run in the race, volunteered during the race activities,

and coordinated the use of Toyota vehicles to transport both racers

and necessary equipment and supplies. Celebrate 48 years of motivation, inspiration,

and perspiration. Since our initial race in 1977, Grandma’s Marathon has grown

bigger than just a 26.2-mile race along the scenic North Shore of Minnesota.

It’s a moment where runners of all calibers come together to celebrate the

vigor of the human spirit. Where the word “impossible” ceases to exist; a day where

year of memories, miles, and human might.8,500 people are your best running buddy. 

So, tie up your laces and join us for the 48th.

 


 

 

For many years, Kolar Toyota has been proud to be a Toys For Tots donation drop off location,

to make sure Christmas is special for the children and teenagers throughout the Northland! Each year customers of Kolar Toyota, and our staff join together to fill the Toyota Tacoma. We invite you to donate a new, unwrapped toy for 10% off your next service appointment.



Toys are needed for both Boys and Girls under the age of 10, and some suggestions include: crib toys, interactive toys, plush toys, early development toys, Legos, dolls, action figures, arts and crafts, instruments, riding toys, kitchen play sets, and educational toys. In addition, items are needed for teens and children over the age of 10, and some gift ideas include: sporting equipment/bags/balls, backpacks or purses, watch or wallet gift sets, bath gift sets, board games, radio control cars/trucks, hand-held electronics, skateboards and helmets, cosmetics, and hair dryers. Don’t forget that three books also count as a gift!
